Please include any comments (positive or negative) about how the device operates: Any need to force restart? How does it connect to wireless networks (at school or off campus)?
I had no issues with battery life, programs quitting, hanging, or not opening. Connecting to the school's wireless network was fast and easy--never an issue.

The battery seemed to last forever! Fast, easy internet connection to public wireless networks. I didn't have the time to connect it to my home wireless internet, but imagine that it would not have been difficult to do.

I agree - battery and connectivity, at least at school, seem to be great on the device. Can't speak to connectivity with other networks as I don't have wireless at home.

More of the same from me. I did connect to my home network and found it to be just as fast aa at school. Very convenient, so far on thursday night still have 53% battery life without charging.

Ditto. I had no issues with battery life, and I tried to use it as much as possible on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. No issues connecting at home, either.

I actually had trouble with the battery life. Not sure if that was me or not-was I not turning it off or putting into a sleep mode as i should...maybe klay or bill can fill me in.

I haven't charged this thing once all week and I'm still at 34%, which is incredible compared to both my laptop and my iPod touch. No problems with connectivity (with the exception of my classroom, which doesn't have wifi right now). No problems with apps functioning correctly.

I had a lot of problems with my iPad. It would shut off on me and restart at any time. It really was not a huge issue, because it would always get me right back to where I was, but it was really annoying. On my third day with it (Wednesday), it is shut off and I can not get it to start back up. When I can get it to work, it works just fine.

I don't know what the battery life is suppose to be, but it wasn't long enough for me. It would wear out after a couple of hours.
