I would like the Earth to be clean and healthy, and have no pollution. Also I don't want the seas to grow larger and flood the land like they said may happen. Also, I don't want their to be any less oxygen then than there is now. I think some climate change would be okay, though. For instance I heard a report saying that apparently in an area in Africa, there has been a drought for a long time, but now the climate is changing and they are now starting to get rain. That is good climate change, because that means that they will now have water to drink. Some steps we can take are not burning many fossil fuels, not driving a car everywhere, eating food grown close to your household, and turning off electronics when you are done with them. So that is what I want the Earth to be like, and what we can do to make it that way.

I would not want any pollution floating around in the streets. Instead of cole burning it is putting the smoke into the air and that is way we should use solar panels and wind mils to power our country. And wen we release all that greenhouse gasses in the air and then then the tempter goes up and then all the ice melts and we get hot hot summers and making a different climate and then the plants and animals die. depending on if it is in a cold climate or in a hot climate. It also affects people withe farming and if it gets to hot the plants die and no food fore the people so people that relay on crops go hungry and that is why greenhouse gasses can make a big difference.

Carbon dioxide can only remain in the earths atmosphere for only two-hundred years. On the other hand, green house effect is heat from the sun and the heat of the sun narrows down to the earth. The earth captures the heat from the sun which makes the earth warmer than recent years. Mrs. Albers said that the past ten or some years that the earth has warmed up about two degrees. You really can not tell the difference. Also the heat from the sun is causing the ocean and sea levels to rise. In a report that I heard which might be the report that Rachel heard said that Africa is getting a lot of rain. That is a good show in climate change. It is also good for living things.

I would like the Earth to be fresh and healthy, have just the right amount of greenhouse gasses, and have no pollution. Climate change can be good and bad. It can be good, because if you have long droughts, and you start to get some rain, that is a good climate change and can help people and plants survive. An example of a bad climate change would be like if you get just the right amount of rain and sunlight, then all of a sudden, there is a long drought, and all of the plants die, and the people would get dehydrated. Some steps that we can take are not to leave the light on when you are not in the room, turn off video games when not in use, try to ride your bike or the bus to school, try to car pool with your friends, try to not throw garbage and other materials into rivers and lakes, and try to recycle plastic and paper. This is what I want the Earth to be like, and what everybody can do to reduce the amount of greenhouse gasses in the atmosphere, and make the Earth the way we want it to be.

I would like the Earth to be nice and clean so people in the future can live better. The climate changes are affecting many people and animals. Where I used to live, there were many rain forests. Most of them are national parks so people can't cut the trees. But there are still some people the cutting trees, and if that continues many rivers will dry up. Animals will disappear. In the future I think it's important that the whole world protects the rain forests as Costa Rica does.

In 50 years I imagine that the world will be a cleaner, and healthier world. I would hope that the world will have just the right amount of gasses. Greenhouse gasses (Carbon dioxide) is like a blanket around the world and in our atmosphere. This is a good thing because it keeps our earth warm, otherwise we would freeze to death....literaly. Anyway, the problem is that we are letting to much carbon dioxide into the atmosphere (pollution), and that is heating up the earth like a little fireball. On the other hand this is a bad thing. Out of all the green house gasses carbon dioxide is 74% of them. Some ways we pollute carbon dioxide is driving, using electricity or cutting down trees. If this doesn't stop in a couple years we will literally become a little fireball.

In 50 years I hope that the world will be a healthier, cleaner, and less polluted world. I hope that instead of a mass amount of greenhouse gases, the world will have just the right amount of them for humans and animals to survive. Greenhouse gases serve as a blanket that surounds the world, this blanket is called the atmosphere. It lets the sun's rays into the atmosphere but keeps most of the heat from bouncing out and leaving earth. If there is a CO2 overload then almost all of the heat the sun gave off would come to earth and stay in Earth. If that happened the world would get so hot it would kill a lot of species. But if we don't have any greenhouse effects then no heat would be trapped at all and the world would freeze and once again all of Earth's life will die by being frozen. So the gases need to be kept in balance if we are to keep the Earth in pristine condition. Out of all of the greenhouse gases in the atmosphere, carbon dioxide takes up 74% of all of them. One way that humans build up this gas is by driving cars. Cars burn oil as fuel to power the cars. Some other things we do to increase the carbon dioxide level is that we use electricity and leaving it on when we aren't using it, cutting down trees, and not recycling recyclable items. If every human in the world made a few little changes in their lifestyle the world would change dramatically, there wouldn't be climate change, a lot less pollution, and the world would be better in general.

I don't believe that the atmosphere can be changed significantly for the better in 50 years. It is unrealistic to think that in 50 years we can clean up what took us all of 200 years to destroy with carbon dioxide and greenhouse gas emissions. I do, however, believe that in 50 years 40% of our power can come from sources other than fossil fuels like coal, gasoline, and oil. We use these fuels whenever we drive motorized vehicles or use electricity. Greenhouse gasses form a kind of blanket in the earth's atmosphere. This blanket allows the sun's heat to enter the atmosphere, but doesn't allow all of the heat to leave. An amount of this effect, in moderation, is good because it stops us from freezing to death. This effect, called global warming, causes the earth to slowly warm up. The fact that humans are cutting down thousands of trees isn't helping, because trees take in CO2, a major greenhouse gas, and produce oxygen. If global warming continues at this rate, within 50 years major climate change will take place. Solar, wind, and hydroelectric power are good alternatives. If we turn off lights when we leave rooms and don't leave other electricity-powered objects on when we don't need them on, we will be taking a major step toward changing the earth.

In 50 years I would want to be less polluted, healthier, and way cleaner. Also I hope that there are less greenhouse gases because the amount there are right now is a little too much. The greenhouse gases are like a blanket around the earth (the atmosphere). This "blanket" of gases lets the sun's heat rays in to the atmosphere and keeps most of the rays bouncing around the atmosphere keeping our planet, Earth, warm. If there is too much carbon in the air the "blanket" gets thicker and more heat stays in and the earth keeps on getting hotter and hotter. If we have too little greenhouse gases barely any heat will be trapped inside the atmosphere and the earth will get colder and colder so eventually we will freeze to death. Therefor the earth's "blanket" should be kept in balance so we don't freeze or get overheated. Did you know that 74% of the earth's greenhouse gases are carbon dioxide. Carbon sinks store carbon. Some carbon sinks are trees, oceans, and fossil fuels. Little steps everybody can do to help keep the earth's "blanket" at a nice even level is just by not driving cars around if you don't need to or you can bike to that place instead. Another little step is by protecting rain forest's and not cutting down trees less carbon would be released into our atmosphere. Also if humans would turn off the lights, unplug chargers, etc. when the aren't using them it would save energy and not burn the fossil fuels that make those items turn on. If every human on earth would do these little things there would be no climate change and the earth would be a MUCH nicer, cleaner place.

In fifty years I would love to see the earth in a much more cleaner, safer, and a more environmentally friendly environment. The reason why I would like to see a better earth is because if we continue to be selfish and continue to increase CO2 we will not leave a healthy place for the future. The causes that "overheats" the earth is the greenhouse gases. These gases are too thick. We pollute so much that we are causing the CO2 level to rise. The CO2 is needed but, the level in the atmosphere is currently too high. The purpose of greenhouse gases is to capture the heat from the sun inside the atmosphere; now, if the thickness becomes too wide it will overheat the earth. This can create problems and climate changes so. To avoid these risks we should drive less, get hybrid cars, or find a way not to pollute while driving. Driving is not the only thing polluting it is also framing, growing livestock, and any other transportation, but of coarse many more reasons. We did not realize this before well at least we didn't think it was this bad. We are not the only ones releasing CO2, animals and plants also give off CO2 but we top them by a lot. Everyone should help and try hard to maintain our earth healthy and how it was meant to be and not ruin it before time

The earth today is not very clean or healthy. People litter and pollute evrey day. In fifty years, I hope our earth will not be this way. I hope people are educated to know that polluting and not recycling is hurting our planet. The next generation should have a better life than we currently do. I believe people should not use cars as much as they do. They should try and use public transportation or carpool. We should all be recycling and never litter. People and animals are increasing the CO2 on our planet. While we need CO2 to stay alive, too much is bad for us. The greenhouse is good and bad for people on earth. The reason we have greenhouse gases is so that we keep our planet warm. It traps the heat from the sun so that it cannot get out of the atmosphere. The greehouse gases are good because if it did not trap the heat we would freeze and die. Since the gases cannot get out, the earth will continue to get warmer and warmer each year. If we don't help the world we could die in 50 years or earlier than that.
