The meseum has an exhibit about African mammals called Akeley Hall of African Mammals. The exhibit was created by Carl Akeley. He was a taxidermist, explorer, sculptor, photographer, and conservationist. He went to Africa with his team and made most of the animals for the exhibit himself.
